The Harvest is Plentiful but the Laborers are Few

I pray the Lord of the Harvest will send out laborers into His Harvest; for while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, day and night will not cease. There is a time and a season for every purpose under heaven. A time to give and a time to receive. Give and it will be given back to you.

2 Corinthians 2:9 begins with “He who sows” This may seem obvious, but you never hear a farmer say, I’m hoping to get my harvest first before I plant my seed, However, a lot of people ask God to bless them with a harvest from unsown seeds.

A farmer cannot receive a harvest without sowing or planting a seed, He can stand in his field all day long and ask God to bless him with a harvest, but until he plants a seed, his prayers will do no good.

So if you have a need the question is, did you plant a seed? Without the seed, it can rain and the sun can shine, but nothing is going to happen because when it comes to experiencing God’s grace, it must be accessed.

The Bible cautions us: Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. The problem is a lot of people want to sow evil and reap good. So if your sowing is bad, expect to reap bad unless you resow. To access God’s grace in the law of the harvest, you sow what you want to reap, it is the Law of the Harvest.

Your harvest depends on when you sow. Galatians 6:9 says not to grow weary in well-doing, because you will reap a harvest if you do not faint. That means you don’t sow your seeds today and go out tomorrow looking for the harvest. There is a time gap between sowing and reaping, giving and receiving, unless God supernaturally provides a miracle. Remember, miracles are not God’s normal way of operating.

He is always at work; sometimes it’s just underneath the soil, so allow a season for reaping knowing that He may not come when you want Him to, but He is always on time. He is a faithful God you can count on to produce a harvest in your life. Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you sow and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

You Need the Power of the Holy Spirit

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth…Acts 1:8

If you do not have the Holy Spirit come upon you, you do not have the power and you need the power to be an effective witness of the gospel to others.

Speaking in tongues is the prayer language of your recreated spirit. It is essentially a hotline to the witness heavenly Father. Through it, you can fully express yourself to the Father which can make your personal prayer and worship time more intimate, special and rewarding.

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place, and suddenly, there came a sound from heaven, as a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Act 2:2-4. The word tongues in Greek is the word [glasse], which means languages. So they were speaking in languages other than their native tongues.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. The Godhead functions like a corporation. God the Father is President, Jesus is the Vice-President and the Holy Spirit is the field representative. While Jesus and the Father stay and issue orders from corporate headquarters in heaven, the Holy Spirit goes into the earth-realm to carry out the orders. He leads and guides you into all truth.

There are fourteen attributes that we call the personality of the Holy Spirit. He strives, teaches, testifies, reproves, guides, comforts, helps, searches, reveals, sanctifies, and commands. He alsohas a mind, a will, and emotions just like you.

The Holy Spirit comes from the Father. He has been here for over 2000 years and is here now ready to empower us, guide us, teach us and help us. He is ready to comfort us and stand by us in our times of need. All we have to do is allow Him to do so by submission and obedience.

The Holy Spirit is given freely by grace to every Believer who desires Him. It is a gift intended to take you into a deeper Christian experience and help you achieve victory in your daily faith walk with God. Remember…We walk by faith and not by sight!

Christ Has Made Us Free

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us Free. For you brethren, have been called to liberty: only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love, serve one another. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. I say walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh and these are contrary to one another. So that you do not do the things that you wish.

When you accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, your spirit man was reborn again at the new birth. If you have confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believed in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. You are a Spirit, you have a Soul and you live in a Body!

You possess a Soul which was made righteous by blood of Jesus. Your Soul also encompasses your Mind, your Will, your Emotions and your Attitude. You have been given the Mind of Christ to have the same mind towards one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. He knows the thoughts that He thinks towards you, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope. Your mind is renewed as you keep your mind stayed on Him.

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and it was not saved at the rebirth. There was the natural birth by water and the Spiritual birth from God. The flesh which is natural and the Spirit are at war against one another…in your flesh dwells no good thing. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are adultry, fornication, uncleaness, lewdness, idolatry, witchcraft, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkeness, revelries, and those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control, against such there is no law. Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with it’s passions and desires; The lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. May the peace of God sanctify you completely and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Stand fast in the liberty by which Christ has made us free and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. He who the Son sets free is free indeed. For he who sows to the flesh will of the flesh reap corruption. He who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not loose heart or faint. Have faith in God , whatsoever a man sows that will he also reap. You shall Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength.

It’s the Season of Elevation, Graduation, Promotion, and Revelation!

It’s a new season…It’s our Winning Season! I decree and declare a fresh anointing is flowing our way. May and June signify graduation time for students who have matriculated through school, college or some form of training in hopes to move up to a higher position in life. It takes perseverance, faith and tenacity to push oneself to the finish line. I am so proud of my granddaughter, Madison Christina Golden who earned a four-year scholarship for her outstanding ability in Track and Field. I had the pleasure of attending her graduation from Cal State University Long Beach, May 29, 2021, with her parents and older brother Matthew. It was a beautiful occasion held at Angel Stadium. She is the only girl and the last of my five grandchildren to graduate from a prestigious University. To God be the glory for the things He has done!

The word says, promotion comes from God. One of the unique attributes of human beings is that we all have a desire to get ahead in life and become Winners. However, the race is not given to the swift or to the strong, but to the one who endures to the end. It starts when we are babies and learn to crawl, then walk and finally learn to run. Likewise as children learn to read and write, technology has shifted our learning capabilities by the use of cell phones, tablets, watches and computers. We are learning at a much more rapid pace which is absolutely necessary to compete in our fast-changing world. Seasons change from new levels of faith to faith and from glory to glory. It’s vital to our spiritual growth to know the times and seasons we are experiencing. Without faith, it’s impossible to please God. We walk by faith and not by sight.

Jerimiah 29:11 says, I know the thoughts I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. His thoughts and plans are higher than ours. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Many are the plans in a mans heart, but Gods purpose shall prevail. We make plans, but God has a purpose for each one of our lives. III John 2 says, Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul prospers; The soul realm encompasses the mind, will, emotions and attitudes. As believers, we have the mind of Christ and pray for the will of God be done, not our will, but thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Galatians 5:22 says…The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, meekness, gentleness, patience and faith.

God wants to reveal Himself to His people; If my people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land, II Chronicles 7:14.

The Holy Spirit is the Revelator who shows you things to come and before you call on him, He will answer. Humble yourself before the mighty hand of God and he will exalt you in due season. This is your season of Elevation, Graduation, Promotion, and Revelation.

To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. I decree and declare this is our '‘Winning Season'‘ and everything attached to us Wins. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimonies…Revelation 12:13. Get ready for Elevation, Graduation, Promotion, and Revelation, in Jesus name, Amen and amen!

Love, joy and peace,

Happy Valentines Day/ Black History Month/Love Never Fails

FEBRUARY is the Love Month, Valentines Day, Black History Month, and February 25th is my 72nd Birthday!

I am excited about celebrating my 50th anniversary as a licensed Cosmetologist. since 1971. It’s a milestone I am extremely proud of as I reflect on the mountains I’ve had to climb to reach this plateau.

Despite teenage pregnancy, domestic abuse, divorce, single parenting, racism, a failed business, and being a caregiver for my father who died with Alzheimer’s, God is faithful and He never let me down.

Becoming a Cosmetologist was not my plan for my life, but, it was God’s plan and purpose. After watching my mother struggle and work hard to earn a living as a hairstylist, I was not inspired to do the same. Proverbs 19:21 reminds us; Many are the plans in one’s heart, but it is God’s purpose that prevails. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts says the Lord in Isaiah 55:9. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. God is Love.

Love is an action word. Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels but have no love, I have become a sounding brass and a clanging cymbal. Though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have no love, I am nothing. Love suffers long and is kind, love does not envy, love does not parade itself, is not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in iniquities but rejoices in the truth. Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. Express your love in action and bless that special someone in your life on Valentine’s Day.

John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Let’s be more Christlike and share the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ to a dying world. What the world needs now is Love sweet Love, that’s one thing there is just too little of, Love sweet Love. With all the hate that’s going around, Love is the answer for the world today.

Faith works by Love. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The fruit of the spirit is, Love, joy peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control against such there is no law. Love is the motivator and faith is the activator. Faith is acting on God’s word. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

Bear one another’s burden and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in the due season, we shall reap if we do not lose heart and faint. God’s love is shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit. Out of the abundance of your heart, your mouth will speak. Let NO corrupt or foul communication proceed out of your mouth, only that which edifies and gives grace to the hearer. Love conquers all and casts out fear.

I love you, and God bless you.

To God be the glory and Congratulations on my 50th Anniversary as a Licensed Cosmetologist since 1971.

"2019" Eye has Not Seen...II Corinthians 2:9

Here we are in a brand new year 2019 the likes of which we have never seen. It’s an exciting time of year when we make new years resolutions, set goals, plan vacations, go back to the gym, began a fast and consecretion, clean out the old and bring in the new…Old things pass away and all things become new!

I decided to stay with my tradition of attending a watch night service and bringing in the new year at church. I can’t think of a better place to be than to usher in the new year on my knees in the house of God.

I started my new years praise party at 6pm on new years eve worshipping and praising the Lord. The party was over when I finally left the second church about 12:30 am. The anointing was so strong when I got home that I could not go to sleep, nor did I want to loose the high I was experiencing. So I stayed up until about 4am writing down my goals, took communion, read the Word, praise the thanked the Lord for bringing me through another year. 2018 was a year of many tests, trials and tribulations, but God brought me through and I give Him all the glory. Without a test there’s no testimony.

I Corinthians 2:9… Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him…is my scripture I have chosen to stand on for 2019. I’m looking for God to do a new thing in my life like I have never seen. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new. I am expecting old habits, old attitutudes, the old me to transformed into the new me to gain new opportunities, new relationships, renewed dreams and visions, new aspirations, new altitude, new friends, new doors to open, a new zip code, new territory, new heights, a new level of faith, new challenges and victories . As the song goes, “A Wonderful Change Has Come Over Me” As I grow and change into a better me, stronger, wiser, transformed me, I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind that I may prove the good, acceptable and perfect will of God. Niether have my eyes seen, nor my ears heard, nor has it enterered into my heart the things God has prepared for me because I love Him according to II Corinthians 2:9

I purpose to pray and spend more time in His presence worshipping and praising for God to reveal them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God.

Have a beautiful, blessed, happy, healthy, peaceful and prosperous New Year 2019, Love, Dr. Stella

Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving 2019

Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. 5. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations.
— Psalm 100:4-5

We have so much to be thankful for during this season of Thanksgiving 2019. Oh, give thanks to the Lord for His mercies endure forever.

Let’s take time to give God praise and thanks for who He is and all He has done for us this year.

For our health and strength, home, church, family, children, parents, job, business, cars and the like. So many victims have been displaced by fires, hurricanes, floods and have lost family members from accidents and gun violence. We are living in perilous times with so much hatred, discrimination, anger, selfishness, fear, unbelief, and crime.

Thank God for a personal intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit is our comforter during the times of storm, who leads and guides us into all truth.

Let us come before His presence with THANKSGIVING and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms. Psalm 92:2.God is good and His mercies endures forever.

Have a Beautiful and Blessed Thanksgiving. Love, Joy and Peace,

Dr. Stella
